Bun Sothea from the National Defense Boxing gym gained the first victory of his international debut by defeating veteran Kaoreanthong Petchchinda. Through 5 rounds the new rising superstar dominated his opponent with relentless attack of knee and elbow strikes. Sothea came as a replacement of Sok Rith who pulled out from the fight due to heath issue. The National Defense Boxing gym is one of the most prominent clubs in Cambodia producing many talented fighter such as Moeurn Sophea, Thun Chantak, Chhai Sara etc. just naming a few.
