Chan Rathana faced strong Kongkangwan from Thailand in the first event organized by International Kun Khmer Federation, the new body which aims to promote Khmer Khmer to outside world prior the arrival of SEA Games 2023 which Cambodia is the host country. After 5 rounds of nonstop action, all judges scored on favor of Kongkanwan. This is the big lose of Chan Rathana who returned to Kun Khmer ring with astonishing knockouts but tried in vain claiming the 65kg title. Some sources revealed that the Kun Khmer veteran would renew his contract with One Championship, and that means we will soon see him fighting in the octagon.
